Warren National Park is home to some of the State’s most majestic karri trees. The park is regarded as a prime example of virgin karri forest. There are two camping loops at Drafty’s Camp with shady campsites spread along the Warren River among karri and marri trees. There are also six secluded campsites at Warren Campsite, some on the river bank and some tucked back in the forest. Shaded viewing platforms overlook the river next to the canoe launch. Please be aware that access to the campgrounds is via the Heartbreak Trail a one-way, gravel road that is very steep in places. It is not suitable for buses or caravans.
Campsites are not bookable and operate on a first come first served basis. Rates are: adult $7.50, concession $5.50 and child (6-15yrs) $2.20 per night.
A park entry fee of $12 ($6 concession) per vehicle applies at many of the popular national parks in WA including Warren National Park. Many visitors appreciate the savings and convenience of purchasing either a four week Holiday Pass or Annual All Parks Pass online at Shop.dpaw.wa.gov.au/ before their trip.
