The park is nestled in the beautiful farming district of Riana in the Central Coast region of Tasmania's unforgettable North West coast. It is centrally located, ideal for relaxed day trips to Cradle Mountain, Gunns Plains and the Leven Canyon, some patrons will even conduct day trips to the rugged West coast from this base.
The park boasts lovely stone and shingle buildings set in a spacious landscaped park. Facilities include: Electric and wood BBQ (BYO wood), toilets, hot showers, playgrounds, shelter sheds, powered and non powered sites. Powered sites are limited and are on a first in first served basis, no bookings taken maximum stay is 4 weeks.
Pioneer Park is pet friendly and is easily accessed by big rigs.

The park boasts a short walk to a lookout through native bush which also has a short side walk to further enjoy the environment. the park is just a short drive to the Dial Range group of mountains which run from the coast at Penguin into the hinterland and forms part of the coast to cradle bush walk. This recreational area boasts many short walks which lead to stunning panoramic views of Tassie's North West coast.
