Journey through the park and gaze upon a range of animals from all over the world, from massive predators to cute critters. You can walk, cycle, drive a buggy or take your car around the 6km loop, taking the exhibits and keeper talks at your own pace. Old Dubbo Gaol

Built in 1847, the Old Dubbo Gaol is today a relic of Dubbo's chilling past. The gaol is open during the day for people to view the old cells, the gallows, and more, while braver visitors can take the very spooky Beyond the Grave night tour and experience the gaol after dark, when the ghosts come out to play.

Shoyoen Japanese Gardens

Relax with a peaceful stroll around the beautiful Shoyoen Japanese Gardens, a gift to Dubbo in 2002 from its sister city in Japan, Minokamo. Entry is through a beautiful set of traditional gates, made by Japanese craftsmen, which leads to a waterfall flowing into a lake at the bottom. Throughout the garden you'll find a selection of Japanese trees, plants and flowers, including the iconic Japanese maple and the cherry blossom, as well as a beautiful rock garden: the karesansui.
