WA Wilderness operates campsites in conjunction with Pemberton Discovery Tours and the Department of Parks and Wildlife in the National Parks and state forest camping grounds in the Donnelly District (Pemberton, Manjimup, Northcliffe) in Western Australia's South West.
Currently our campsites are located on the banks of the Warren River or at the nearby Big Brook Arboretum, all with limited facilities.
The ideal camping experience, everything fully set up and maintained for your own pleasure; tents, beds, cooking facilities all provided.
Perfect for families with limited time, or visitors travelling from interstate or overseas.

The campsites are located on documented walk and cycle trails, so bring your bike and hiking shoes! Rivers and lakes are only a step away so perfect for a paddle or canoe or kayak.
Pemberton is the closest township and the town hosts a myriad of wineries, galleries and tours.
The Pemberton Discovery Tour is a popular tour by 4WD vehicle through the forests to the coast via the magnificent inland Yeagarup Dunes. This tour is very popular in Spring due to the wildflowers and is recommended to visitors who are in the region for a short time due to the diversity witnessed on the tour.
The Donnelly River cruise parallels the journey by 4WD along the river - both tours completely different embracing the diversity of the region.

Pemberton is well known for its natural attractions including the famous Gloucester Tree firetower - 60m of nail biting rungs to the top; the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree even taller still!
The Karri Forest Explorer Drive explores these attractions whilst interweaving between local galleries, wineries and more.
The Pemberton Fine Woodcraft Gallery is located 600m from town centre where you can browse handmade local timber products. It is also home to the Holysmoke Cafe - a delicious experience.
In the town centre, Millhouse Cafe, Cafe Brazil and the Crossings Bakery ensure that quality product is available during the day; with Sadies restaurant open for evening meals.
Wineries including Hidden River Estate offer a fabulous playground and fantastic menu; Lost Lake are also open for platters and wine on the deck.
Another fun activity is Minigolf @ Discovery Centre and the Lavender Berry farm where kids can feed farm animals, pick seasonal berries and enjoy berry pancakes.

Toni and Graeme's welcome was warm and friendly and from the moment we arrived at our site, we felt totally spoilt! The kitchen set up had everything you could think of and included, two cookers, homey crockery, hand warmers and even a star gazing map! The tent felt luxurious, with its carpeted floors, cosy stretcher beds with doonas. Complete with a hot outdoor shower to boot. The setting was absolute magic! Watching stars through the seemly endless tree canopy, listening to wildlife. Day break brought more surprises, with views of the stunning Warren River and discovering the gorgeous fairy wrens that came to visit our site. Both the short walks and the Heartbreak Trail were a fantastic! With surprises around every corner. From the tranquil forrest to the beautiful birdlife and the spectacular fungi. The experience had all beauty of nature with all the creature comforts of home. We'll definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful long weekend in September 'Glamping' with WA Wilderness. Even though we were late arriving and the office was shut, a map had been left for us and Graeme was still onsite with our campfire lit for our arrival. Everything we needed was there for us, beds were very comfy and camp chairs were well used by us next to the campfire. The river was so close and my partner who loves fishing spent a lot of time there while I relaxed with a book. We had lovely travels during the day around the area, including the Lavender and Berry Farm (amazing scones), Jarrah Jack's and Beedalup Falls. Highly recommended, just take your food and clothes and you are set! Hopefully be back soon :-)

Very glad to have chosen the Glamping experience at Pemberton. The kids had a fantastic time camping out in the woods and making (dancing around) campfire. I am happy to give some feedback: - Amazing facility set-up, every imaginable detail has been thought out. I particularly like the make-shift sinks for handwashing and dish cleaning. - The beds were comfortable and fits a family of four perfectly. The Rhino seats were an essential part of the campfire experience. - The kitchen came complete with gas grill, gas cooker and utensils. - Overall I would say it is luxurious camping, and works well for people who do not want to be bothered with making preparations and setting up of tents, and yet being able to arrive at the scene with everything prepared for them. I would add that, especially for customers arriving from big Asia cities, who tend to be 'pampered' by convenience, this offer makes a lot of sense.

WA Wilderness hosts Toni and Graeme really have thought of every possible need for this 'Glamping' experience. If you want to try camping but don't have the gear, or want a getaway without the hassle of setting up or packing up this is the stay for you. Spotless equipment and super comfy beds, chairs and tents make for a great stay. We were set up at Drafty's camp in the Warren National Park which was secluded and beautiful bushland with the river a few meters from our door. You can kayak, swim, fish or just enjoy the surrounds. Make sure you take the forest and Dunes Tour with Pemberton Discovery Tours it was a highlight for the kids!

Great introduction to camping! We are a family of 5 and we all enjoyed it immensely. The set-up was fantastic and the organisers put in a lot of effort to make sure everything was perfect. There were even playing cards for kids (but they were so tired by the end of the day, they just wanted an early night - and my kids never have early nights!). Great way to get in touch with nature and talk to the kookaburras. The park & river are totally unspoilt and worth seeing. Definitely worth it (especially if you don't want to lug around a trailer with all your camping gear).
