Booked in for 3 nights but only managed 2. We were met at the office by 2 young men early 20's who could not find our booking nor could they locate our friends site who had arrived the day before. Told us to drive through the park and find them and park anywhere. The site was in the peppi tree area and was like a swamp with mud and deep wheel ruts. The rubbish bins were full and over flowing and no one serviced them in our two days. The van tap water was the colour of urine and the only ablution block showers hot water took 5 minutes to arrive and had little pressure. At the back of the park was a large freshly excavated hole for a large tank. The hole was over 4 metres deep and 4 metres across with no warnings or protection to keep children or wild life safe. We found a large goanna in the bottom of the hole and advised the office who wanted to know what we were doing there. We told them that there were no warning signs or barriers and they shut up. The park used to be good and our friends had stayed before but never again. They charge $30 per night, a rip off.
