Barn Hill Station Stay is a family run nature based park ideally situated on the Kimberley coastline.

Conveniently located only 9 km off the Great Northern highway, you would never imagine paradise could be so easy to get to! Our road is unsealed but suitable for 2wd cars and all campers, caravans and campervans. It is graded regularly in the high season but with all our traffic there may be a few bumps along the way.

In shaded and lawned grounds 80 metres from the beach, with capacity to fit large vans and trailered boats. Power is 24 hour.

With breathtaking views of the ocean, our unpowered sites accommodate the more self-sufficient traveller. Fresh potable water is provided on each of these sites and they are within walking distance from the shop and ablution block.

We have three basic single room mud huts which can sleep 4 people. They contain a gas stove, fridge, and cooking and eating utensils with linen provided. The chalets are nestled within the shade and extra guests are welcome to camp around them. The chalets do not have air conditioning, but have ceiling fans and are designed to encourage ample sea breeze ventilation.

Many a tourist has stopped at Barn Hill to stay 2 nights only to extend for 2 weeks, drawn by the magnetic coastline and the people they meet in our relaxed haven.

After a full day of activities or even just relaxing, we also have several weekly social events to keep you busy.

A lawn bowling green with regular tournaments, Wednesday night communal BBQ’s, and a roast night on Sundays with local entertainment.

There are a variety of beach activities to be enjoyed by all ages:

excellent beach and dinghy fishing
cave exploring
cliff walking
climbing our namesake landmark Barn Hill

We were extremely disappointed with everything, starting with the off handed attitude when booking in, no eye contact at all, and couldnt even be bothered to answer. We unfortunately paid for a week, but were urgently called back home. We left before the office was open, so I rang later on that day requesting a refund, this was the 5th of may, to date we are still waiting even tho I was told very grudgingly, a cheque will be sent. How long does it take to write or refund monies? At $40 per night and only 6amp power, not good.

The Park is right on the beach but up high. With lovely lawns and quirky camping sites named after the Barn Hill Station activities We stayed at "Pig Yard". Nice and cool and no mozzies. Would recommend Barn Hill to all my friends

Barn Hill is a fabulous place to stay. Lots of shady spots. There are people of all ages. It has a really friendly atmosphere. The walk to the beach and along is amazing. Its a real treat for shell collectors. My favorite memory was standing next to a local butcher bird singing away in one of the trees. Fantastic!
