A great park situated right on the waters edge of the Nornalup Inlet where you can throw in a line and get king george whiting. Facilities are clean with good camp kitchen and recreation room. Good size sites. Camp fires allowed (bring own wood). There are cabins on the Park which whilst we did'nt go inside look very clean and functional. Sites have been wired for TV with cable supplied for small deposit. Friendly and helpful staff. A boat ramp is just around the corner and there are some lovely walks from the Park. Would stay again.
I love this place. It is in a perfect position as a base for mountain biking being right ON the Munda Biddie Trail and within easy reach of world famous attractions such as the Treetop Walk and the fabulous forest drives. It is so safe for families with just a walk out the door to great swimming and boating not to mention the incredible sunsets. I love paddling the Franklin River as far as you can go into pristine subtropical rainforest or across the protected inlet to the Southern ocean. WOW.
The thing I love about this place is that its REAL! you go there and you feel straight away able to relax. You are not on top of one another but are able to feel comfortable in your own area. Its great for families and for those couples or singles who want to get away from it all. The veiw is so spectecular . It is definately my favourite slice of Paradise!.
I have been camping here in January every year for the last 8 years. The park is very well located we choose a site on the perimeter. The ablutions are very good and kept clean. We have 2 boys that enjoy mucking around in the bush crabbing on the beach and the excellent fishing. The shop is a little frustrating as they do not provide a newspaper service and the owner is a little weird. apparently they are building a entertainment room that is not needed.
So peaceful, so beautiful nestled amongst the trees. Very relaxing spot. Friendly, helpful staff. Great spot. Will visit again.
