We stopped at the park last year in the cabins, which were superb. We are going back this weekend and trying the camping facilities. The park is clean, it has everything that you could need, clean toilet and shower blocks, excellent kitchen, lovely grounds etc and all set in the most beautiful part of WA. I have only seen 1 negative review about this camp site which I am astonished at, but to be honest we are all probably better off if Yolenda and her clan never step foot in the place again. If you are offended by a sign asking you not to throw rubbish over the grounds, or keep the shower blocks clean then there is something terribly wrong with you. Anyhow back to the camp site and area, fantastic, can't wait to go back.
Beautifully situated park, which is well maintained, very good facilities which are kept clean & tidy, lots of shady grassed areas, DOG FRIENDLY :-) :-) Enjoyed out short stay very much, and will return with friends for a longer stay very soon. Recommended
Very poor facilities. It takes 3 days to refill soap holders. No iron. Only one water tank for drinking water that is located outside. We found out that kitchen water was not drinkable after a few days, there was no signs above tap saying it was not drinkable water. No wonder a few people in our group had upset stomach. Everywhere is full of with unfriendly notices I.e. Your mother is not living here wash up after using the dishes etc instead of giving positive messages. Camp owners were unkind and unfriendly. They are very strict with departure times. It was not good value for money. We stayed at much better places for the same price where they had playground and activity rooms. Don't recommend this place to anybody.
I'm really sorry to read you've been so unhappy while staying with us. When you left we thought everything was fine otherwise I assume you certainly would have told us to get things improved to your satisfaction or you would have left earlier. I'm also deeply concerned hearing that some of you had a upset stomach. Our Park tab water is scheme water from Bolgonup Dam managed by the Water Corporation and certified drinkable even it has got a bit of taste from tannin. That's why we provide Rain water from a tank outside the camp kitchen to fill up water bottles etc. At the time of your stay our park was full of other (happy) campers from all over Australia and there was not even one incident like it is described in your review. Our facilities are up to scratch in fact they are often mentioned in other reviews (e.g. Trip Adviser) as very clean and excellent. A laundry iron is always available in the reception. Yes, we are strict with our check out times (10am) if the park is full and new arrivals coming in expecting a spot to stay on - we've been kind enough to allow you to stay till midday - you finally left at 2:30pm !! If we would have a big playground (actually we're a nature park with lots of grassy areas to play on) it would be advertised the same with the activity room. Soap holders? We provide wall mounted liquid soap spenders and they are filled up! The soap holder in the showers are for the individual use of our customers. At least a word to the so called 'unfriendly' notes. They actually show a smiley face and we are polite enough to use the word 'Please' very often. We truly believe it is our duty of care to all the other guests expecting clean kitchen facilities (e.g. cutlery/crockery). It's just a small, pretty and peaceful Park and we are always around/available to listen to our guests - and act if there are concerns in regards to our facilities. Sorry we couldn't make your stay more enjoyable.
