"Fraser Range is half way between Norseman and Balladonia, 100km east of Norseman, heading towards South Australia. It is an oasis in the outback.

Described as being Western Nullarbor Plain, Fraser Range bears very little resemblance to the rest of the Nullarbor Plain.

The area is covered by dense hardwood eucalyptus forest composed of blackbutts, salmon gums and gimlets. The trees are substantial, some towering 20 to 30 metres tall with dense undergrowth making vehicle access off cleared tracks impenetrable.
This park is perfect for families, backpackers, overnight stays and travellers of all ages. We hope you enjoy your holiday whether it be a short stay or a getaway Fraser Range Station Stay is the ideal place for you to visit. Stop and take the time out to absorb the surroundings and great atmosphere.
Come stay relax and enjoy!

The area is steeped in the history of pioneering days. Lots of relics on display. The station was first settled by the Forrest family. John Forrest was the first Premier of WA. The managers of the park are really friendly and very welcoming. Easy access to this park from the Eyre Highway. Most of the sites are drive through which makes for easy parking. The facilities are clean. The surrounding gardens are bright and colourful and there is an abundance of wildlife.

Fraser range was totally unexpected find on the Nullabour . Beautifully set out neat tidy and lots of shade. The amenities were clean and tidy. I enjoyed the idea and invitation to participate by adding to the jigsaw puzzle in the well appointed camp kitchen. A longer stop there nextime for me.
