Welcome to Sandy Point Holiday Park!

With new management from the beginning of July 2014, the park is currently receiving a facelift.

Sandy Point Holiday Park provides guests with powered & unpowered sites.

The park now has a new camp kitchen and rejuvenated BBQ area where friends and family will feel comfortable to sit for hours by the fire in the wintertime or chill out in summer.

Sandy Point Holiday Park is situated right in the heart of the quaint little town and 50 metres walk over the dune is the magnificent beach!

We are so glad the dog owners had a great experience at SP caravan park. Perhaps that is the reason why we non-dog owners will not be going there ever again. We do not want to holiday next to barking, yapping, boisterous dogs, and as it's only a very small park, it's impossible to avoid.

I'm so glad we found this little gem to take our dogs on their first camping trip. Although we were a little concerned about the bad reviews, we found the park management to be absolutely brilliant by making us feel comfortable as soon as we got to the park. They saw that our dogs were a bit boisterous, and went out of their way to put us in a site that was a little more isolated which we really appreciated. Bathrooms were cleaned everyday, and for Easter weekend the park was generally clean and tidy. Close to Wilson's Prom and a range of amazing beaches and inlets. Highly recommend as a great getaway for humans and dogs alike.

I would completely agree I don't know where any on these people stayed Also don't know why my last post was deleted unless paid off by the park. My experience of Sandy Point Holiday park was that it is nice and close to the beach. The managers do not have social skills and I and my wife heard them attacking numerous people for such trivial things. The park does have wifi but is turned on and off at the managers discretion. The toilets and showers had not been clean since new. And we're cleaned only once during the week I stayed there. The place is over run by dogs. The managers have 6 of them that barked and woke everyone at all hours. There are no bins in the park just 2 smelly skips located in the middle. Security is a concern as there are more cameras that the CBD All in all if it wasn't for the amazing beaches I doubt anyone would stay at this 1 star park.

Don't know what park the other reviewers on the Turu site stayed at but it certainly wasn't this one. The park is old, very small, and not well well run at all, being overun with dogs which are encouraged by the managers. It is also lacking in shelter, with many small sites. Read the Google reviews for a more accurate confirmation, reviews on the turu.com.au site seem fake.

What a wonderful place. Very friendly managers and full of helpful information. Facilities are very clean, just a bit old. Close to beach and Wilson's Prom. I will definitely be back.
