The Ross Caravan Park and Heritage Cabins are located adjacent to the Macquarie River in the bustling heritage village of Ross.
The Caravan Park has 20 powered sites and 20 unpowered sites with an upgraded amenities block and electric barbecue.
The caravan park is close to the historic Ross Bridge and across the road from the Ross swimming pool and children's playground. There is fishing for trout (in season) and red fin in the Macquarie River (fishing licence required).

Enjoy a comfortable stay just a stone's throw from the bustling heritage village of Ross midway between Hobart and Launceston and an hour's drive from the scenic East Coast or the Tamar Wine Region. If you are interested in buying antiques or collectables Ross is a great destination!

The pretty heritage village of Ross lies midway between the major centres of Hobart and Launceston on the Midlands Highway. This makes it the perfect stop over for people travelling between the North to the South of Tasmania, or the perfect base to explore the Tasmanian Midlands and beyond. The region around Ross is rich in convict history dating back to early 1800's. It is little known, but the Maquarie River is home to plenty of great Tasmanian trout! The Motel is situated right on the water and if your luck is in, you might catch a big one. Ross is also only half an hours drive from four supurb trout fishing lakes (Tooms, Leake, Crescent and Sorell) and only an hour from the central highlands, The Great Lake and Arthurs Lake, two of the most productive trout fishing spots in Tasmania.

Had a great stay at Ross next to a beautiful bridge in the centre of a historic town with plenty to see learn and buy. Grassed sites close to shops quiet and safe for kids.
