My wife and I are quite new to caravanning and have been to Pt. Rickaby three times in the last 12 months, The Park is very well maintained. The manager Richard is a great bloke with a fantastic sense of humour. I have witnessed him talking to new arrivals with nothing but helpfulness. Whether it is early in the morning or late in the evening there is always a friendly hello from him. The fishing, jetty walks and beach walks are great. And its dog friendly which is very important to us. We will be back and are recommending the park to our family and friends

My wife and I 'discovered' Port Rickaby Caravan Park 3 years ago and have been caravanning there 2 or 3 times a year since. The owners bend over backwards to make your stay a good experience. I am fairly new to fishing but the owner gave me some good tips for off the jetty fishing and showed me how to clean the catch. The Park is neat and clean and a pleasure to visit. The shop is well stocked for the necessities and there is a good array of tackle and bait. I read a previous review by one of the shack owners and I can't see how the owner could be as he or she described. It is absolutely the opposite. He is a good asset to the Park and his character and kidding can't possibly be described as other than a good excuse for us return. I think the shack owner needs to get a sense of humour or a life. I guess you can't please anyone who doesn't want to be pleased.

As a city family that has a place at Port Rickaby, and going there approximately every 6 weeks for the last 25 years or so we have found that within the last 3 years the local caravan park owner has been very rude and abrupt towards some tourists. He tends to watch every move you make and even tells you how to fish, in a very rude manner. As a shack owner at Port Rickaby I will never visit his premises ever again, I will purchase any goods I require from Milinton. Please be aware, he is rude and arrogant.

The Port Rickaby Caravan Park is a delight to visit. It is on the foreshore with a jetty just outside the gate. The beach has beautiful sand and a safe environment for all the family. The amenities at the park are excellent the park itself is well laid out with lawn and trees. There is no hustle or bustle of a main town Port Rickaby being just a little seaside village but not far from Minlaton if the need to shop occurs.
