Shoreline Caravan Park Port Augusta. We have been to this park about 3times before and now think it is only a money making concern for the owners. It is over priced, poor TV reception and when we asked the management about it (TV), they came across a was a who cares attitude. You wouldn't want cook or do anything in the camp kitchen it is disgusting. Overall rating Poor - See more at: http://turu.com.au/parks/vic/great-ocean-road/great-ocean-road-tourist-park.aspx#User-Review

This is a must stop at park any direction you're heading. Best showers in Australia bar none. Always interesting and friendly folk up for a chat. Great fun.

I camped overnight in campground 4 - red dirt. I had to find the fuse box to get power to the nearby kitchen and the BBQ was out of order. But all the other facilities were fine. The gates are locked at 9.30pm and open around 7am. There were plenty of other people there with their dogs as well as me. All very friendly.

The location is fantastic tranquil and as the name suggests right on the water with a magnificent view of the Flinders Ranges. The Staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to assist you. There are a wide range of Sites to suit every type of Traveller. We stayed in a Cabin that was terrific value spacious clean and comfortable. I walked around the Park to check out all the facilities as we alternate between using Camp Sites and Cabins. The general Facilities provided were clean modern and had everything required as well as an inviting Pool Playground and Recreation Room. The Kiosk and provision of Ice and Gas Supplies Onsite are very handy. The Park is secured at night which is comforting when all your Camping Gear is outside and saves unpacking again. It was great to feel safe at Shoreline after an eventful Outback experience.
