This is a great caravan park. Basic and functional with shops and a bakery nearby and the local hotel and all within a few minutes walk and plenty of shade and sites within easy walking distance of the amenities. I like this park because it has friendly hosts,Its great for kids and good shower and toilet facilities that I have always found to be well kept. There is a laundry facility as well. In the past I have stored a caravan on the park at very reasonable rates. Having bought a new camper trailer, I plan to visit the park again on a regular basis in the near future.

The park is well located with many sites having views of the lake. We visited over new year when the park was very busy, but had no issues. The number of resident cockatoos is amazing and they tend to wake you very early - we also had quite a task removing their droppings from the awning - though we did appreciate the large trees on our site that gave us shade during very hot weather!! The hosts were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the very dated amenities block, which is crying out for an upgrade and never looks clean even when it is!!

Thank you for your comments. Our amenities are dated but still very functional and are cleaned everyday, and several times during our busy season. The council (who own the toilet block) are looking at a new block when funds are available. We are sorry if they did not meet your needs, and hope it was not the foreshore toilets you were using, as some park patrons do, as these are often dirty and are not in any way part of our park.
