June 2015 We booked the Leasingham caravan park as we do not like to be packed in like battery hens! We were not disappointed. The park was ideal. Quiet, nice grassy sites with plenty of space and easy access to power & water. Clean and functional facilities, and although we didn't need to use the camp kitchen, were pleased to see it was ideal if needed. Above all, the pleasant greeting on arrival and the friendliness of staff was refreshing. Location ideal, close enough to everything yet not in the crowds. Thanks for a great weekend.
This Caravan Park is small but lovely. The host Stewart made our stay very pleasant and indeed as did his parents. Nothing was too much trouble. We were given helpful info regarding the local wines ,dining and produce, Stewart and his parents would take time out to say hello most times during our stay.
We have been going to L Village Caravan Park since 2010 almost yearly except when we went around Australia We have always been pleased with the location cleanliness facilities but more importantly with the Service especially Daryl and his large well mannered dog Casey. Nothing has ever been too much trouble for Daryl other people there felt the same as us. He has even gone to the trouble of digging a trench to put TV cables in. We are proud to be able to call Daryl our friend nothing is too much trouble he is very well mannered and we like spending time with him Sandra and Dennis Willmott
We stayed at Leasingham Village Cabins in Mid June. A cold rainy weekend! The caretaker gave us a tent site close to the camp kitchen and amenities block. He also suggested that if we were too cold we could put our bedding in the camp kitchen and sleep there. After six weeks camping in Central Australia we were well used to cold nights in a tent so declined his offer. However we appreciated being able to cook inside and we certainly enjoyed the warmth and widescreen television before settling into bed. We were staying two nights and the caretaker made a point of checking on us to see if we were okay and to give us some suggestions regarding things to do in the area. It does show how far this Park will go to ensure that its guests are comfortable and happy.
