This was the best park I have stayed in and definitely had the most comfortable beds of any accommodation. Cabins are spacious and grounds lovely. Would've given everything five stars but it didn't seem to want to let me.

Sad to see previous comments. We came in from WA and even though we were quite late Sharon welcomed us warmly. Couldn't have been more helpful with directions to site, general information on area & supplying us with a selection of tourist information and advise. Only thing we were unable to stay in the site we were allocated for more than one night. When speaking to neighbours they said others had moved on due to this same problem. If we care to move sites they could arrange for us to stay on. Rather a shame as it's a beautiful park well maintained & very friendly. Will be returning.......

Went to Highway1 Caravan Park in Dec 2013 for unpower camping and it was the WORST camp site we have ever been The umpower camping area is just in front of the maintenance workshop area and just beside of the highway, those two factors make your stay extremely uncomfortable. Once your tend is set up, all the view you get is to the old machinery they have stored in the workshop and also the collective rubbish bins are in there!!! On top of that, the highway is just besides and therefore extremely noisy, there is no noise protection at all. The ground is not well care after and therefore extremely hard to set up the tend, I bend few pegs and at the end, I was unable to use all the pegs and they didn't went into the ground. On top of that, they allocate 6 tends is a quite small land area which force you to be extremely close to other tends. When we complaint about all these factors, lady in the reception just mentioned that "they are under a new management and its just getting there..." Facilities are OK, bathrooms relatively clean and great swimming pool area Really far away from Adelaide cbd though but still Coles supermarket and fast food in the vicinity, good to travel in the north area such as Barosa Valley I don't recommend this caravan park.

we asked the Lady on the Desk for a place to go to eat she send us to one of the worst places in town, when there was a great place just a few hundred meters up the road.
