We wish to invite you to stay at our four star caravan park in Charters Towers, the Dalrymple Tourist Van Park.
You’ll find us on the northern entrance to Charters Towers, on the Lynd Highway and yet only 1.8 kilometres north of the Charters Towers Information Centre and city centre.
As you may have to pass other caravan parks in Charters Towers to get to us, we will go the extra mile for you and ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
We have all of the features you have a right to expect- spotlessly clean amenities, accommodation including ensuited fully self contained cabins, ensuite powered sites, grass and slab powered sites for caravans, camper trailers, fifth wheelers and motor homes, large camping area, sparkling saltwater pool with children's pool, covered camp kitchen and BBQs, kiosk, tourist information and tour bookings, gas refills, dump point, wheelchair accessible amenities and plenty of room for large rigs on our 6 acres of landscaped, shaded grounds.
Charters Towers Golf Course is right next door to the caravan park and we hire golf equipment.
When you're ready to explore the history and grandeur of Charters Towers, we can help plan your time. Charters Towers is a perfect example of the real Australia, with brilliantly coloured sunsets, heritage streetscapes and cattle stations. There are few historic city hearts as beautifully preserved as Charters Towers' One Square Mile, with its stately heritage listed buildings. The elegance and grandeur of our city heart is truly awe-inspiring and best of all, it's easily explored on foot. The Stock Exchange building is one of the many "must sees" as is the World Theatre, whose name derives from when Charters Towers was the second largest city in Queensland.

Mega friendly welcome from Tanya. Beautiful park, lawn quality lush green grass with no weeds or prickles. Established trees and gardens, good shade. Clean spacious amenities, lots of hot water with excellent pressure. Noted huge disabled shower cubicle and separate even bigger disabled toilet. Easily accessed dump point. Big well equipped camp kitchen, lots of tables, huge communal fire pit for socialising. No road noise heard. And Tanya turned up with fresh baked slice for morning tea! Only sorry we only had one night in Charters. We will be back.
Very nice park and very friendly owners.
