We just spent the last weekend at Conway and had a great time. It is very kid friendly, so much so that we barely saw our 2 (6 and 9 years), they made new friends and were off. Love the activities like craft, train rides, kid disco and pizza night. We had our 2 dogs and the beach was great, lots of room for an off the lead run. We will return for sure. I did get caught out with food though, you need to take everything with you really. (Bread and milk available at the park shop) as it is quite a drive to Airlie or Proserpine..

Shocking fish and chips. Non potato potato scallops barra yeah maybe dirty fresh water barra. If you improve this you may have a good caravan park. Very disappointed. Could only eat the chips.

What a shame our fish and chips, which is such a tiny part of our business, is the focus of this review. I wonder if Bob was just passing through for a feed or whether he stayed in our patch of paradise and experienced some great hospitality, facilities and fun that is normally the focus in a 4 star tourist park.

This park was definitely a surprise as it is hidden away from the main road in beautiful national forest It is about 18klm of the Airlie Beach road and it is mostly bitumen road. The Park has so much to offer from a large swimming pool and play area to an undercover barbeque area with a shop for everyday food to cooked meals and burgers etc and tourist information. The beach was was a walk away and their are facilities for your boat where you stay and down the road is the boat ramp to access the Whitsunday Island or go up the creek. Their is also a lovely swimming hole at Cedar Falls 10 minutes down the road where you can take the kids have a picnic and cool off in the swimming hole. All up it was a wonderful time away with friendly staff and good accommodation.

Conway Road is now completely sealed. The boat ramp has also had a major upgrade. It has 2 lanes and a pontoon.

Conway is a small very clean & well managed park with up to date amenities a great centre piece is the pool including water slide & jumping pillows a newly commissioned water park for the kids is also a great attraction. the campers areas is well set out with a great camp kitchen. Proserpine river outlet is walking distance & fishing locations are close by for all levels of anglers. You can be involved with organised activities or just leisure to yourselves. Airlie beach & Proserpine are approx 1/2 hr drives to sight see or stock up then return to your small piece of paradise to do it all again
