Minnie Water is an untouched haven
– secluded, natural and idyllic –
a reminder of a time
when we needed less ‘stuff’... and probably had more fun.
The beaches (500m) and bushland surrounds are magnificent,
and Minnie Water is a popular stop-over for adventurers on the great Yuraygir Coastal Walk.
The Park has a small village of cabins, van and camper sites in quiet, natural surroundings.
It also features an extensive bushland campground where you can enjoy a secluded bush site, open campfires and a real camping adventure – with the added comforts of clean showers, toilets and a camp kitchen.
The Park also has a tennis court, a pool and, perhaps best of all, it’s pet friendly* (outside of school holidays, long weekends, Christmas and Easter) Conditions apply and subject to our pet rules.

Only 500m to Minnie Water Main Beach which hosts events throughout the year from Surf Life Saving to Family Fun Days.
surfing
Many of the beaches in the area are well known for excellent surfing conditions. In the off peak season surfers love the uncrowded quality surfing breaks.

rivers
The nearby pristine waters of the Sandon, Wooli and Clarence river systems attract fishermen, sailors, and swimmers. Canoeing along the rivers is a great for bird watching or fishing.

fishing
Deep sea fishing is excellent all year round with safe and easy boat launching in the lagoon at the southern end of Main Beach. The whole area is part of the Solitary Islands Marine Park, and Sandon River does include some Sanctuary Zones where fishing is not allowed, so please check before throwing in a line! Ask for a Recreational User Guide from the Trading Post for information on how to best enjoy fishing this amazing area.

national park
The Yuraygir National Park surrounds Minnie Water and features excellent bushwalking, trail riding and bird watching areas. The local population of Emus is famous for wandering around the holiday park delighting guests, along with their friends the kangaroos, wallabies and beautiful birds.

whale watching
The Tree of Knowledge lookout, on Minnie Water headland just 5 minutes walk from the park has wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean, providing a great view of the whale migration from May to November.

Amazing place and service. Just a few minute walk from the beach and just down the road from Wooli. We will be sure to go back again soon

Beautiful little park I would rate the amenities in the top 5 of the cleanest and nice shower but also the smallest shower and toilet cubicles I have seen in a long time. Also no gas bbq still a nice place to relax and check out the whales passing by We will be back
