We had a great time at Ballina Beach Village. This was our 3rd stay there, which tells you that we love it! Great fishing spots on the river while watching mesmerizing sunsets, Beach 4 W Driving adventures and falling asleep to the sound of waves after a lovely evening by the fire. We would like to thank especially Rachael in the reception, cafe and restaurant. She has gone well beyond her duties to make our stay lovely!! See you again soon.

If you like bush camping but with showers and toilets this park is for you. There are sites that are secluded and you can have camp fires. However the secluded sites are well away form the amenities blocks. There are 2 amenities blocks, one could do with a un up grade, it is nothing fancy but does the job. They would not cope in busy times. There is a BBQ hut but when we there campers took it over as if it were theirs only to use. Lucky we didn't want to use it. Site fees are a little over priced for what you get. Nice beach and feels like you are getting away form it all. The ferry access we do not recommend you tow anything because the ramp down to the ferry is very steep and would bottom out. Take the South Ballina road instead. No shops nearby so take all your supplies or stock up at Ballina

Thank you very much for your review. A couple of things though, we have three large amenities block with 20 showers and 20 toilets, 2 laundromants, 2 pools, a kiosk, cafe and restaurant. The camp kitchen seats 60 people. It has 3 BBQ's; 2 large fridges, cook top, micorwave, toaster etc. So plenty of amenities for everyone. With regard to the ferry about half our caravan guests choose to come over on it - but we only recommend people do so if they have a high towing 4 wheel drive, rather than an ordinary car. However, the alternative route is no great hardship and is very, very pretty to drive.Don't forget we are pet friendly all year round too! Thank you for your positive review. We look forward to having you back.

We really loved this park - soooo much space. The location was just wonderful, no 4WD permit was required, so we could drive the 30km to Evans Head when the tide was low (look out for the brown rocks close to Evans though). My husband caught a 17kg Dhu fish (he was happy), it took 3 bags of ice to chill it down on the way home. Kids thought it was wonderful - nice playground, good pools and DOG FRIENDLY - so we didn't have to leave Jazz our dog at home. Very very clean amenities. They did them 3 times a day. Impressive.

What a lovely spot and such friendly hosts. We had a gorgeous meal of Barramundi. Hips and salad. Went to sleep to the sound of the waves. Dog friendly. Highly recommend it to anyone.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights on a non powered camp site and found the park and amenities to be of a good standard. The shower/toilet blocks were kept clean and hygienic. The staff were nice and informative. There are 2 in ground pools a kiosk BBQ playground bikes for hire and a trapeze which provides much fun for the kids. There is also a beach beside the park which has 4WD access. The park is pet friendly so our 2 dogs came along for the trip. We will be returning in the future and would not hesitate in recommending the park to family and friends.
