No wonder they want to keep it a secret. It is difficult to find a place like this that offers so much. Wildlife, beach, lake, uncrowded. Woohoo! The camping ground is surrounded by bushland so be prepared for visits from possums, kangaroos and goannas. It is out of the way though. Nearest town is Batemans Bay about 20 minutes away. My tip: Hire a kayak to paddle on Durras Lake - best when the wind is low though. Really windy when we went and it was hard to paddle.
